NASH-FXR Study

What is the purpose of the NASH-FXR study?

The purpose of the NASH-FXR study is to determine whether a new study drug, called MET642, is safe and effective at lowering fat build-up, inflammation, and liver scarring in people with NASH.

Who can join the NASH-FXR study?

If you have NASH or suspected NASH, you may qualify to join this study. Take a brief questionnaire to find out!

What will happen during the study?

If you qualify and decide to join the NASH-FXR study, your participation will last for up to 24 weeks. During this time, you will be asked to participate in 3 study periods:

  • Screening (up to 4 weeks) – Receive health assessments to see if you qualify for the study

  • Study Drug (16 weeks) – Be randomly assigned to receive either the study drug or placebo (which has no active ingredients). You will visit the study clinic 6 times during this period

  • Follow-up (4 weeks) – Attend a final study clinic visit to assess your health 4 weeks after your last dose of the study drug
